Classes are ongoing, and we change up the theme and instructional content every 4-8 weeks (see below for upcoming sessions).
Most classes are suitable for those brand new to belly dance (unless otherwise noted). Please contact me if you have questions/concerns about getting started! I am more than happy to help recommend a class (even if it’s not my own class).

This 4-week Summer session will feature a grab-bag of fun beginner-friendly belly dance lessons, with each night devoted to a specific topic/theme.
Students can expect to learn a variety of belly dance technique, movement vocabulary, stylizations, and musical context. We will focus on developing posture, muscle isolations, musicality, and more, in a supportive and inclusive class environment (all ages, shapes, gender identities, and abilities are most welcome)! No experience is required.
Belly dance is a low impact dance form that will help strengthen your core muscles and train your balance as well as coordination. Come to class and find joy in moving to the music of the world!
Drop-in: $15 4-class card: $50
Class cards credit can be used in any session and does not expire. Please purchase thoughtfully, as class cards can be traded with another dancer, but not refunded.

What to wear to class:
Soft stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely is recommended (yoga pants, fitted top, a hip sash if it makes you feel lovely! etc.). We dance in bare feet, but please feel free to wear flat dance shoes with a soft suede sole, or jazz shoes if you prefer (no street shoes). Socks with grippy treads also work!
